It was difficult
So it’s day 4 of the daily vlog. It’s also my first day back in the office since I started doing this on Friday. Wow, what a shock to the system that was! It was so hard to get everything out today, but when I finally got daily vlog 3 out, it did extremely well! I managed to get double the amount of views I normally do, which, I think is insane! So I’d like to take a quick minute to thank all of my followers for supporting me and pushing me through the hard times.
When the going gets tough, the people that don’t think they are tough, learn something new!
Well, that’s my own rendition of the quote anyway. I’m realising I am so much stronger than I thought I was last week!
I also went for a run!
Well, I didn’t think I was strong last week and I’ve realised so much of what I told myself, to be a pure fallacy. So just to eradicate any doubt, I decided to send myself on a new adventure with some much needed cardio. I’ve wanted to do an obstacle course for some time now, so this will help me with this.
I’ve decided to do some LSD (Long Slow Duration) training for a while. I read an article which explained there is a method for beginners to reach the fitness level required to run a marathon. There are 3 simple rules:
- Run for 1 hour minimum 3 times a week
- Never run further than 15 miles in one session
- Keep it at a low/moderate intensity – you should be able to hold a conversation with somebody
And that’s it. It also mentioned not to run more than 5 times per week and if you’re a beginner you should stick to 3 times per week and build up to 5 sessions per week. You can check out the rules here.
That’s enough talking from me though, watch the video to find out what actually happened 🙂
